- Earn 6% Cash Back on grocery stores, restaurants, and mobile wallet purchases with your Rakuten Visa Card during the month of June.
- Others got 4% instead of 6%.
It’s the base 1% earn, plus an additional 5%/3%, respectively.
The Fine Print
- In order to qualify for this offer, you must make qualifying grocery store, restaurant and mobile wallet purchases (minus any returns or adjustments during the promotional period) with your Rakuten Cash Back Visa Credit Card that post to your Card account by 6/30/20.
- Please allow up to 90 days after the promotional period ends for the 6% Cash Back to post to your Rakuten Cash Back account.
- Only one offer per account.
- Transactions within other establishments (i.e. supercenters or warehouse clubs) may not apply. Synchrony does not evaluate whether merchants correctly identify and bill transactions, however, they do reserve the right to determine which transactions qualify for this offer. Our Verdict
I’m not seeing any limit here which makes this a pretty incredible deal for those who got the 6% offer. Even the 4% is pretty interesting for an unlimited deal. Both of these deals are potentially worth much more if you value Membership Rewards points more than cash and you have the points version of the Rakuten account, e.g. at a 1.5 cents valuation, these offers are worth 9% or 6%, respectively!
Not sure if all Rakuten Visa cardholders got one of these offers or if it’s targeted with some people getting no offer at all; check your emails.
