- Valid for travel on the following long distance and state supported trains including: California Zephyr, Capitol Limited, Cardinal, City of New Orleans, Coast Starlight, Crescent, Empire Builder, Lake Shore Limited, Palmetto, Silver Meteor, Silver Star, Southwest Chief, Sunset Limited, Texas Eagle, Adirondack, Ethan Allen Express, Vermonter, Amtrak Downeaster, Empire Corridor, Maple Leaf, Pennsylvanian, Carolinian, Piedmont, Wolverine, Blue Water, Pere Marquette, Lincoln Service, Saluki, Illini, Carl Sandburg, Illinois Zephyr, Missouri River Runner, Heartland Flyer, Cascades and Hoosier State.
- Seating is limited.
- Valid for discounted one-way coach rail fares based on the regular (full) adult rail fare. Valid for coach seats only; no accommodation upgrades permitted. Once purchased tickets are non-refundable
- Exchanges are permitted within the ticket validity period, a 25 percent cancellation fee applies.
Our Verdict
30% off seems to be a relatively common discount that Amtrak offers, not sure if this one is available on less routes than normal or not.
