You might be able to activate it on Tello which is a prepaid provider that operates on the Tmobile network. I’ll report back once I receive mine.

I thought Boost no longer runs on T-Mobile’s network. Doesn’t Dsh own it now?
List price is $50, but lots have sold around $20 on eBay, and some active listings for that price as well in new condition, so It’s really a $19 saver rather than $49 in my opinion. Could also resell and make it a ~$10 profit after shipping/fees. 4400mAh power bank capacity is basically one charge for top end phones. Can’t go wrong for a dollar and free shipping. Might go for it!
SDers have turned away from this offer as “not a slam dunk” only a buck OOP.
The top mobile hotspot plan cost $50 a month for 35gb. Not worth it IMO unless you want a 99cent power bank

There seems to be some confusion on Slickdeals about whether boost will charge you the other $49 later if you don’t activate it on their network.
Someone called Boost and they said you will not be charged more if you don’t activate. For $1 you can’t even buy a cheap power bank!
For one dolla you can’t even buy two stamps
Can’t buy a USB-C cable for $1 either and this comes with that too.
The terms would suggest you pay MSRP – $0.99 if you don’t activate service within 60 days. That will super cede whatever a Boost rep allegedly told to the “someone” that called Boost. This is a hard NO!

“Any limitations On How I Use My Device? If you get a Device from DISH Wireless or a DISH Wireless authorized retailer without paying full price (MSRP) for the Device, you agree (1) within 60 days to activate and use this Device on the DISH Wireless network and (2) not to resell, trade in, or export, or participate or profit in the resale, trade in, or export of the Device to a third party until you have activated and used the Device on the DISH Wireless network and met all your other financial and contractual obligations to us. If you do this without meeting your obligations, we reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary, including charging you for the difference between the Device’s full price and the price you paid for it, and seeking recovery of related damages.”
This is a prepaid device. That language ^ is from the post paid but thanks for participating. Also I used cash app to pay and I always keep a zero balance and locked so good luck charging me.
