- Card earns at the following rates:
- 5X Points on Streaming Services ($6,000 limit)

Hat tip to reader Bockrr
Found a California university I never attended with an alumni association open to “friends of the university” and with free membership. Looks like $500 credit card funding, and there is also a secured version of this card with same earning structure if you don’t want to risk a denial / hard pull (but you have to call or go in branch.)
Are you out of state? Which university?
Any idea what the transferfee is? I see 12 months 0% apr but will 1500$ of spend disqualify or affect the 0% interest the transfer apr offer??
5% cash back on food, grocery and gas is a great deal, even if it’s quarterly. They just need to have off-ramps with point transfer partners and it’s a national best seller.
does anyone know the cpp cashout options for these points? Is it 1:1?
i applied. pending. guess we will
More counties qualify:

Be affiliated with a California school as a current/retired employee, PTA member or member of an employee organization OR be an alumni association member of a CA college or university
Have an immediate family/spouse/partner who is a California Credit Union member
They also have a bank promo. 3 months dd, for 250.
Got denied for account for Chex being LOL/24, wonder if opening the CC would help chances on a recon/new app
I live in Orange County so I’m interested. Anyone familiar with this credit union? I’m assuming I would need a checking and savings first.
Eh, I prefer Citi Custom Cash and AAA Visa
I prefer that card that will approve me at 7/24.
Citi won’t approve you at 7/24?
It’s a credit union, decent enough with branches all over LA county so I assume LA area should also qualify. Check out Wescom, they used to have better sign up bonuses.
Fun info to state, they had members vote yesterday to move to a federal charter.
Wow no foreign transaction fees too!
