Our Verdict
We once saw a bonus that was 100,000 after $5,000 in spend but we haven’t seen that for multiple years. Other recent bonuses include 125,000 points for $20,000 spend or 75,000 points for $5,000 spend. I do think this bonus is competitive and probably the best points:spend ratio we have seen for a long time, so if you think it’s worth using a 5/24 slot for this card then I’d recommend signing up and will add it to our best credit card bonus page.

I got an email saying the offer ends on May 29. But if I clicked the link now (Jun 2) it still brought me to the chase page, it just did not explicitly mention the bonus amount. Because of that I did not continue the application.
For someone like me that doesn’t fly often and only domestic and will be closing the card after 1 year, this offer probably isn’t worth it right? Points are hard to use and will expire and can’t be transferred to a partner program?

I understand Avios is interchangeable and that the BA/Iberia/Aer Lingus offers are pretty much the same thing, so what is the benefit of applying for BA over Iberia, Iberia over Aer Lingus, etc.? Basically, is there a ‘best of’ out of these three cards and offers?
I opened the card last month for 75,000 offer. I secure messaged them to upgrade me to this new offer. They said no. Is calling worth it? How do I get upgraded to this sign up bonus?

Can you apply for the BA card and 24 hours later the aer lingus card, getting both 100,000 point SUBs?

IIRC I’ve got the 100K BA offer about a decade ago. At that time, 100K offers were rare. But Avios has significantly devalued since then, and I can’t find good redemptions anymore. I recently flew from London to Marseille last month, and I hated the rate, taxes, and overall product. For AA redemptions, I end u using AAdvantage. It’s good that they’ve expanded Avios to Qatar & Iberia, and you can use Jetblue, but I don’t find anything when I need it. Does anyone get a good value out of avios?
