Our Verdict
Some solid deals here; max it out with $134 gift card purchase and do it twice. This deal is working even for those without DashPass.
Note, you won’t be able to pay with your DoorDash balance or Chase promo credits on these e-gift card purchases. A reader mentions getting credit for spend at a Restaurant category with this offer, and also says they got 3% back from Capital One Offers.

Just got a $160 Total Wine GC for 15 percent off. Very happy with that.
Yeah it’s a great deal on booze! I had never ordered from TW until DD started offering these GCs for 15% off. But I did my first order last month and it went great. I spent the whole $160 or so in one online pickup order and I stacked it with 5% back at TopCashBack. (The terms say no cashback on orders paid with GC but the money is still pending 4 weeks later. It pends for 14 weeks tho so we’ll see.)
The prices were good. And they rolled all the booze out to me quickly once I arrived and I was off in jiffy! What a time to be alive lol
Logged in as a DashPass user – only seeing 10% off on Lowe’s. 15% only on DoorDash GC, and on a bunch of GCs for stores I never shop at.
Confirmed that its only 10% for Lowe’s. The SD poster jumped too early to post without actually buying….still 250 Lowes for $225 if you need it.
Lowe’s was 15% off in the morning but DoorDash updated it to 10% later in the day.
Nerfed from GC buying groups’ activities. This unfortunately seems to be happening a lot more lately.
Anyone actually got the 15% off to work on Lowe’s ? It is showing only 10% off for me in the cart even though the offer link shows 15% off.

Looks like Starbucks is no longer a participating brand in this promotion. In the fine print it now reads “Starbucks is not a participating partner or sponsor in this offer.” Zift is still 10% off.
“Please use a different payment method to checkout.” spins and spins and spins – nothing tried deleting and re-adding credit card -nothing. Default for DashPass Subscription – nothing. could be they ran out of promotion and that’s their way of bowing out.. that’s what I’m thinking. I didn’t try cash app though or a debit card
If you keep getting the error message “Please use a different payment method to checkout.” try deleting and re-adding your credit card to your DoorDash profile and make sure you check the box in the lefthand corner “Default for DashPass Subscription”.
Like many others reported in this current round on this deal (May, 2025) I was getting this error message every single time with different cards, different browsers, etc. Once I checked this box….Voila! I was able to purchase three different gift cards in a row at 10% off by following this each time. I assume I will be able to get 7 more gift cards at 10% off per the terms of the deal. (“Discount limited to ten (10) digital gift card purchases per person”)
I will report back what each card recorded this purchase as and if it qualified for the US Bank or Wells Fargo cashback offers.
My $200 ($180) Zift order was “Processing” from around 12PM yesterday until around 4AM today, at which point I got a text and email that it was cancelled “because we are unable to process the order with the store”. I have DashPass and account is not new.
