Eligible Phones For The $650 AT&T Access More Benefit

Citi recently launched a new credit card the AT&T Access More card, the sign up bonus on that card was that if you purchase a full price phone from AT&T and are on a postpaid contract with them and spend $2,000 within the first three months (including the purchase price of the phone) Citi would credit your AT&T Access More card with up to a $650 statement credit.

Fine Print

The fine print stated that they would provide you with a special link that needed to be used to receive this $650 credit. I really dislike fine print such as that, as there is no way of knowing what phones will be offered and at what price point before you sign up. Making it impossible to value the benefit.

What’s Actually Available

Thankfully we know now what phones are available, several readers (and LakeShoreDrive on FT) have confirmed for me the special link is: http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/attaccesspromo.html. Final Thoughts

Given that we know signing up for a new post paid service with AT&T will result in an additional hard pull, I’m not really seeing a lot of value in this sign up bonus anymore. If your an existing customer this could still be a good bet, but I’d mainly be interested in this card for the potential 3x on online purchases.
