This change actually took place on January 1st, 2019 but I (and I assume many others) completely missed it. Hertz points now expire after 18 months of inactivity, previously they expired after 24 months of inactivity. Hertz did include this change in e-mails to customers regarding changes for the 2019 year, but I do think it’s worth repeating.
