Kroger: $10 off Visa/MC/Amex Gift Cards + 4x Fuel Points this Weekend

There are a couple good deals available this week at Kroger and the other Kroger-affiliated stores.

$10 off Prepaid

Direct Link (filter by ‘Gift Cards’)

  • Get $10 off $100 Visa/MC gift card
  • Get $10 off $100 Amex gift card

The terms of the Amex deal are clear that it’s limited to just one coupon per househ0ld. The Visa/MC deal has contradictory verbiage in the terms whether it’s limited to one-per-day or just one-total. Let us know how it goes for you.

Both offers are clear that it won’t work on variable-load cards.

4x Fuel Points

There’s another digital coupon (pictured above) which offers 4x fuel points on gift cards this weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (11/11-11/13). This one is for unlimited use.

Fixed-value Visa/MC/Amex gift cards should work to get fuel points, although it might be a YMMV. Other third-party merchant gift cards should all work to earn 4x fuel points.

Our Verdict

We’ve been seeing a lot of deals on Visa/MC/Amex gift cards at various retailers. This deal would be especially awesome if it’s repeatable daily (the terms are unclear, as noted).

In any case, if you go on the weekend, you should get 4x fuel points on top of the discount Visa/MC/Amex gift card. If you do both the Visa/MC deal and the Amex deal, you’ll end up with 800 fuel points for the $200 purchase.

As others have pointed the coupon is tied to Alernate ID.

Just create multiple accounts online.

I was able to score 4 cards with 4 diff alternate ID’s.

On the site itself it says 1 transaction for day. Use family members alt ID’s and you can get a few back.

Results of my tests on V/MC GC’s
1) Coupon is tied to the Alt ID. One coupon per Alt ID for duration of promo (does not reset when calendar day resets).
2) V and MC are different skus. Purchasing either sku applies the coupon which disables coupon usage for the remaining sku.
3) Self-checkout lane can be used.
4) Cashier did not check ID on credit card (YMMV)

Got both the $100 VCG and also $100 AMEX GC for $90.00 each. Had to park the AMEX GC overnight in order to be able to make a purchase with it. I chose to take it over to OM purchased fee free $100.00. MCGC.

My lucky day. Kroger was out of $100 Visas and the clerk at the Customer Service counter let me get a variable and manually subtracted $10 from the total. Didn’t scan my coupon so it’s still there but didn’t drive across town to the other Kroger.

I got $500 instead of $100… 🙂 $500 VGC for $495.95 + 6% cash back.

Same, no 4x coupon available in my coupons or in browser site. Anyone got a link they could share please?

Nevermind, the 4x appears to be regionally focused right now. Guess we’ll keep an eye out to see if it’s just a delayed.

I’m not seeing the 4x fuel points offer on my Smith’s or Kroger coupons. I have tried incognito as well. Can someone post a link of their 4x fuel points coupon? I have been able to add online coupon offers to my account that way even if the coupon didn’t show in my account.

Sweet on the fuel points. I was just there Sunday thinking a previous deal was still on. Glad I postponed my purchase. Thanks for the heads up, DoC.

Is Kwik Shop a convenience store? That’s all we have around here.
