Our Verdict
A lot of people will find 15% savings on Uber interesting, and possibly some of the other brands as well.
This is especially nice when stacked with a card that earns a bonus at office supply stores or when stacked with 10% from the Chase Offer/BofA. (There’s also an offer for 10% back on Visa cards when activating the offer within the Dosh app, though the terms of that offer usually excludes gift card purchases.)

Worked fine in Chicago suburb (they had the sign up) — got the white colored Uber card ($15-$500 variable)
$100 Uber for $85 + reg $25 Amazon GC = $110 total
-$5.50 for 5% Chase Ink Cash
-$5.50 for 5% Chase OD offer
-$11 pending for Dosh OD offer
in the bay area, Emeryville OD had none. Berkeley OD had some. Today bought one variable value loading $100 and cash register automatically takes $15 off. came back an hour later with a different cashier using a different chase card that had 10% offer and got a second $100 uber gift card.
Can this be done online from http://www.officedepot.com to get the Chase 10% off?
No
no luck at my local OD(SEFL), employee claims they dont even carry uber GC
No advertisment. Grabbed 4 $25 Panera and a $100 Uber and it rang up $170. Easy.
Can we split uber gc in multiples of 25$ and get 15 off?
Just bought Uber gift cards in-stores. Can confirm, the promotion is in the system. I automatically got the 15% discount off $100 Uber gift card. Didn’t even talk to the manager about it. The promotion auto applied and paid $85 at checkout.
Also got an extra 10% back in office max purchases through chase cards
was told at the store, gift cards can only be purchased once (one transaction) per day per household. not sure if it’s real or not. got my $100 Uber gift card for $85.
The deal is real.
I went to one store in Southern CA. All employees did not know this deal. I showed one employee the deal from Doctor of Credit, and then she called the manager. She was told to scan the Uber gift card and put the $100 to try out. The the final amount showed $85. The deal is in the system, but nobody in the store knew.
The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club!
The deal is real.
I just went to one store in South CA. I did not see any sign. All store employees did not know the deal. However, one employee scan one Uber gift card and put $100 dollar amount in the system, and then the final amount showed $85. It was in the system, but nobody knew.
