The Offer
Some people are seeing a nice offer among their Chase Offers/BofA offers:
- Get 10% back at Office Depot/Max, up to $11 cash back.
A number of banks use the same back end for these offers. This includes: Chase, Bank of America, Regions Bank, Suntrust Bank, BBVA, BB&T, PNC, Columbia Bank, Beneficial Bank, and Christian Community CU. You can read this post for more information.
Our Verdict
Not a huge discount, but might be useful if a gift card deal comes along.

I don’t live near an OfficeDepot/Max, but I’m visiting relatives in the San Francisco area and prepped 7 cards that has the 10% discount up to $11, and the Amex offers $10 off $75. I finally found a store with decent gift card selection and when I go to purchase the cashier stops me cold…. Gift cards must be purchased with one card, not multiple cards split up. They were adamant on this, it was “policy”. Really sucks, was only able to buy one $110 GC using Ink Cash with the 0% float.
I have Alaska Mileage Plan credit card (issued by BofA), will I get 10% back in this case?

Unfortunately, I can usually get 5% back without the offers, so…
I got 10% cashback on my Chase World of Hyatt and Chase Ink Business Cash Card. Also, Wells Fargo Choice Privileges Credit Card had a 10% cashback.
My Bank of America offer is only valid online and it is 2%

Per other comments, this is less valuable than it used to be. I got a 5% offer on a 5x card and a 10% offer on a 1.5x card. P2 got 10% on CSR.
