- Uber And Yext Team Up To Help Brands Launch In-App Campaigns by PYMNTS. Uber is teaming up with everybody at the moment!
- Google Launches Waze Rider App by PYMNTS. Really like the concept of this, it’s more traditional ride sharing rather than having a paid driver. There is so much waste when it comes to getting to and from work and I think Google will do exceedingly well if they can break this market.
- Hurry! ~$500 Moneymaker On Kitchen Appliances At Kohl’s With Discover It Or Freedom by Out And Out. Dealing with all those mail in rebates and small value gift cards is my personal version of hell, but if you have the patience and attention to detail then this is a great deal.
anyone made copies of the UPC / barcodes they can send me?
Kohls rebate says they’re missing 9 of my barcodes. I double checked before I mailed and there were 40 of them, but somehow 9 got misplaced.
I just lol’ed so hard at “all those mail in rebates and small value gift cards is my own personal vision of hell”
i wanna see where Google goes with Waze. im super skeptical. not because of Big A’s tech ability, but because of the liabilities. hell no do I want to keep driving other people around if they will end up suing me if i get into an accident… fuk that. Uber is already gray area enough with their own “on/off” duty insurance. I think most Uber drivers dont know how insurance works and how auto insurance is actually in the business of LIMITING THEIR OWN LIABILITIES against them. TBD. we will see…
For the amount of time I’d spend trying to get my money back on that Kohl’s stuff, I think I’d be better off if I worked a minimum wage job.
Agreed. Its a bunch of junk for a bunch of time
true. everybody values their time differently. which is unfortunate.
For anyone interested in the Kohl’s MM, just a caveat that Kohl’s is notorious for monitoring and banning accounts that have even the slightest hint of reseller-like purchasing behavior. Harlan (the author of the post) got a little lucky there, but if he tries to do something similar again, he can expect auto-cancellations for life (well, unless he moves/ships to a different address lol). Many many DPs of this happening frequently.
I have been doing this for 5 years. The have the exact same deal every BF. Never had any problems.
kohls doesnt have the man-power to sniff around craigslist and send detectives to garage sales, wth are you smokin bruh
They don’t have to do any of that. They just look at your purchase history.
