Amazon Register is closing up shop on 2/1/16. I always find it interesting when big companies like Amazon can’t get traction for various ventures. Seems start-up is difficult for huge companies as well since they need to convince people to change over from what they’ve been doing until then. In the past, some of us used Amazon Register for manufactured spend purposes, although that didn’t always go over so well.
Amazon is also shutting down Amazon Local, its Groupon-style daily deals site.

Barclay converting Travelocity Amex over to the Arrival card in April 2016 via Saverocity forums. Many people will miss these cards for the unique AU card number which is given out and is useful for loading multiple Serve cards.
