The Fine Print

  • Valid 11/2/15 – 12/31/15
  • Not valid for e-gift card purchases (e-gift cards are processed by Cashstar and won’t work for this offer)
  • Excludes corporate gift card purchases
  • Excludes Best Buy Express, Geek Squad services made outside of Best Buy, Best Buy Parts Store, Best Buy Private Store & Auction or at standalone Pacific Sales stores
  • If you order an item during the offer period but it is not sent until after 12/31/2015, it may not count towards determining whether the purchase qualifies for the offer (we wrote more about his here)

Our Verdict

This offer comes out twice per year – once in July/August and once in November/December. What is unusual this time is that they changed the amount from the typical $25 off $250 to $20 off $199.

If you don’t have any ordinary purchases to make at Best Buy, you can also buy numerous gift cards at Best Buy store and online. Their online sales department is hard to deal with, but in-store you shouldn’t have a problem buying gift cards. Visa, eBay, Exxon, Shell, BP, Best Buy, iTunes, restaurants, and many more.

Also keep in mind that Best Buy now accepts Apple Pay which can be an added convenience when making use of this offer.
