Recap: Chase Portal Issues, Robinhood Waiving Fee & More

  • Robinhood usually charges a $75 fee when you transfer stocks or cash from Robinhood to an outside brokerage. Until November 23rd you can get this waived as they are doing a legal change of who holds the equities. To do so you need to do the following:

If you do not wish to have your account transferred to Robinhood Securities, you should promptly make arrangements to have the cash and securities in your account transferred to another firm of your choosing. Please contact [email protected] to transfer your holdings before the deadline of November 23, 2018. All transfer fees will be waived. However, following November 23, 2018, you may still close your Robinhood account and transfer your assets, but standard account transfer fees will apply.

Thanks to reader Justin B who sent this in. Might be useful for those doing the Chase Sapphire Banking bonus.
