Our Verdict
Previously SoFi offered a $25 bonus for investing $10+. This is a bigger maximum bonus, but obviously requires a much bigger trade.

Do one have to buy crypto within 7 days of opening an account? Subsequent statements refer to bonus being paid within 7 days of purchase. So I wonder if the “within 7 days” in this “Earn a bonus when you open a new SoFi Crypto account and buy at least $50 worth of any cryptocurrency within 7 days!” is related to bonus payout and not to crypto purchase. The exclamation mark is either to highlight the speed of payout or to emphasize the 7-day purchase window, I believe it’s for the former.
Is there a fee for transferring balance out after meeting promo requirements?
SoFi charges 1.25% on each side of the transaction. So if you do the $5k amount, you’re out $125 from the start. Wish I would have read those fees closer before I made my Buy.
I don’t think there are transfer fees other than that.
