The Offer
- Target.com is offering a free $15 Target e-gift card when you buy a $100 in iTunes e-gift cards.
The Fine Print
- Limit 1 per checkout
Our Verdict
Stack with REDcard for an extra 5% back on the purchase. I don’t think portals work here. Still a decent deal if you need iTunes, and possibly for reselling.
A few pointers, via GC Galore:
- You can get one bonus card with each $100 iTunes checkout.
- The Target card is an ordinary Target gift card. It comes by default tied to your Target account, but some have success adding it to any other account or merging the card onto another Target gift card; YMMV, seems to work for some but not others.
you can still add it to any other account or merge the card onto another Target gift card; it’s an ordinary Target gift card. - The Target card might not come at the same time as the iTunes card, so don’t fret.
Also works on smaller denominations that add up to $100 or more in same order. Limit of 3 of each denomination.
I wonder if iTunes can be used to pay for subscriptions such as Netflix, Spotify, Hulu, etc. for streaming? Or any other useful subscriptions that can be paid through iTunes? Also can TARGET egift cards be used to buy other gift cards like Netflix, iTunes or phone cards like T-Mobile minutes? I usually use my red card for most Target purchases so that’s why I’m curious.
Target GC’s cannot be used to buy other GC’s.
Also might be more worthwhile to put streaming subs on AMEX plat card with their new $20 credit/mo until the end of the year.
Serious question: What do you use Ituned GC for if you don’t have iphone or any apple products?
If you’re in prison the physical ones can be made into a shiv. 🔪🔪🔪
But enough about you
I can’t stop laughing
Note you will only get 4.25% discount with red card.
From slickdeals: Target first subtracts the $15 off the $100 for $85 and you get the red card discount off $85 which is 4.25.
Then your total is 95.75.
85-4.25+15
I was wondering if that would happen.
