Virgin Atlantic has announced a number of changes to the Flying Club rewards program. Starting September 1 award flights will now earn elite qualifying miles, the earning rate will be the same as if you used money to book. Elite status, vouchers and other upgrades will also be extended for an additional six months (they have already been extended for six months).
