- Receive 2,000 IHG points when you apply for the Chase IHG Rewards Select Club card and

The Fine Print

- Valid until March 31st, 2015
- must register your member number in advance to participate in this Offer (not sure if this just means adding your IHG number to the application or what, there is a chance you have to preregister for this somewhere else before applying)
- Must be an IHG® Rewards Club member
- Allow 6-8 weeks for 2,000 application points to post
- IHG reserves the right to remove a member’s bonus points if fraudulent use of the Offer is detected
Our Verdict
I think this bonus is only available if you received the targeted promotion, so I wouldn’t expect to get the bonus 2,000 points if you haven’t received that. In addition to that, it’s actually possible to get a much better bonus on this card. A lot of people have reported that they were able to get an offer of 80,000 points + a $50 statement credit which is vastly superior.
Personally I wouldn’t bother with this 72,000 point offer as chances are you won’t get the additional 2,000 points anyway.
