The Fine Print
- “Limited quantity available” (I believe there are quite a lot available actually. Probably will go on for the whole day today or maybe even longer.)
- Can take up to 4 hours after the card is delivered until it can be used. Can sometimes take 1-2 days for delivery.
Our Verdict
eBay gift cards at a discount is always a good deal.
Remember to go through a shopping portal to get an additional 1.5% back (should work). And to use INK for 5x rewards (should work with Paypal Digital).
Some on Fatwallet mention that if you got this deal recently it won’t let you do it again since it’s considered the same deal. (Not sure exactly which deal this is the same as, since there’s been so many eBay gift card deals.)

PP problems….
I haven’t been able to buy anything from PP digi gifts for 2-3 weeks, ebay GCs or otherwise. I was just able to buy 2 of these GC. Maybe they have some kind of overall velocity limit that is unpublished that is for fraud mitigation?
Were you using eBay gc to pay or paying with CC?
There are limits on the number of eBay gc you can use per 6 months.
If it’s not that, then it’s just one of the many headaches that PP makes us. Hopefully, when ebay breaks off on its own, we won’t be as dependent on PP.
I was able to purchase 2 cards .
I wasn’t eligible for the deal. I believe it’s considered the same deal if it’s listed under the same Item number, meaning they never relisted, though the seller may have had two times when they discounted the same listing.
That makes sense.
I used an Ebay Gift Card to purchase 2 and had no problem

I get the same message, but I’ve never been blacklisted.
As far as I know I am not truly blacklisted with PayPal Digital Gifts. In the past I have had success in calling PayPal to override the security feature that was denying my purchase; however, the last two times I have not been successful.
I got a fraud alert from PayPal and cleared it, but the payment still won’t go through.
I got that the first couple times. I closed the tab and tried again, and then it went through. Don’t know why that was.
I also have difficulty dealing with PP Digital now that I only have an unverified PP account.
