eBay released a whole bunch of new gift card deals today.
Staples Deal
- Buy $150 Staples e-gift card for $130 from Paypal Digital Gifts

The Staples listing went back and forth, but currently it’s showing a limit of 5. The listing started with 15,000 and less than 1,000 are sold at the time of this writing.
13% off Staples is pretty good. Even better, it’s sold by Paypal Digital Gifts which has been earning 5x with INK. And you’ll get 2% back in eBay Bucks if you enrolled.

Final Thoughts
I’m debating whether to jump on the Staples deal or to wait and see if there’s a bonus Bucks offer that comes out tomorrow. As noted, there’s still many thousands left. I’m leaning to jumping on this now and not waiting since the listing has been going back and forth.
Reselling
Without any bonus Bucks, there aren’t any amazing reselling opportunities here, but the Sears and possibly Staples and gas might be able to work for some.
The Staples can be sold currently for 84.5% to Saveya. The 3.5% from Bucks and portal will make it ~break-even on the sale, and you can net the free INK points; 5 x $650 INK points = 3250 points.
If you got targeted for the 8% bonus Bucks offer then the math gets a whole lot better. On the Staples deal, for example, you’ll profit around $40 cash + another 3250 INK points. Total profit value of over $70 at the very least. And the other gift card deals make a lot more sense too.
The biggest throttle now is that Paypal isn’t being too nice about letting us check out. Doing one gift card at a time might help.

Heck, my wife’s acct can’t even get 1 staples GC, as PayPal Rep said no go on any PayPal digital GCs

No, I just ordered 5 (after verifying paypal 3 times)
I got error messages at both 5 and 4, could only get in a single purchase of 3 before the 4x eBay Bucks window closed. Also got stuck in the verification loop for a few go-rounds.
I’ve been trying to purchase Staples GCs since this morning with no success. Paypal would not let me do it by locking my account and asking to verify identity. Talked to 3 different Paypal reps and no one can do anything about it other than unlock my account. Was able to use Paypal for other purchases in between with no problem. It’s just PPDG that appears to be blocked for me.I think I only purchased from them once before so don’t really understand a reason for being blacklisted.

I just did that too. Though I didn’t forget, just had some problem clicking through and the next thing I knew I’d paid without using the credit card.
I hate this about Paypal. I know they want to make money, but I think it’s lousy that you can’t call and change it to a credit card…
Can staples gc be used to buy other gc at staples?

I was limited to purchasing 3 Staples cards. (Only tried 1 eBay account + 1 Paypal)
This was in 2 transactions (2 + 1). On the second transaction it gave an error, and made me reduce the number in my cart.
Update: I was able to buy 2 more today, 5 total.
Can’t check out with Paypal even after wiping cookies and cache. Such a pain in the ass.
I seem to be okay until I touch the third rail of PPDG. I don’t buy anything anymore from them, but I could really use the Staples deal.
i had to do the text verification 3x… but ultimately was able to purchase 5 Staples card in one order.

I had to go through the verify loop 3 times via text and once using automated call in order for the TX to go through. Try initiating the tx from scratch, it ultimately allows you to switch payment method.
