- Third Round Of BlueBird/Serve Shutdowns by Danny Deal Guru. If yours isn’t shut down yet, well done!
- How Do the Alaska Airlines and Virgin America Loyalty Programs Compare? by Travel Codex. Really good look at the differences between the airlines, the transfer rate will be interesting when these programs merge. I highly doubt it will be 1:2, maybe 1:1.5 if we’re really lucky.
- Wow! 5,000 JetBlue Bonus Points For *Every* Flight Until June 30 by Angelina Travels. Targeted offer, but really good if you can find some cheap flights.
- Are You the “Travel Hacker” A Good Customer of the Banks & How to Improve Your Banking Relationship by Miles to Memories. There is no way I’m a good customer to banks, a good customer is any customer that makes money for them. I chase sign up bonuses and category bonuses and never pay interest, I imagine I’m a big net negative for all credit card issuers but I’m not going to complain they keep giving me new cards.
- Which Credit Cards will Replace my Citi Forward Credit Card after June 4? by Travel With Grant. Citi Dividend is the obvious choice in my opinon, still not as good the Forward but not a made option if you can max out one of the 5% categories.
- Get 5K ThankYou Points for Adding an Authorized User on the ThankYou Premier & Preferred [Targeted] by Frequent Miler. Hopefully this becomes a permanent bonus like Chase has.
- American Express trialling ‘bonus MR points’ offers …. and a good Harrods cashback deal by Head For The Points. This is only for the UK at the moment, but if it goes well I expect it to come to the USA as well.
- Starwood Lays Out Their Next Promotion for May Through July by View From The Wing. Pretty lame promo, but worth enrolling for just in case.
- Whole Foods And Shell Cashback Show As Confirmed Nationwide With Earn By Microsoft – Starbucks Doesn’t by Flying Xplorer. We’ve covered earn by Microsoft before, very good program but shame it’s so difficult to redeem points for something useful if you don’t want Microsoft products.
- John Oliver on credit reports via TBB. Really good video on consumer reporting agencies and the errors found in credit reports. I strongly recommend pulling your reports at least once a year and checking for errors, you should also be familiar with how the FICO score is calculated and set up free credit monitoring.
