Dumped Verizon last year due to decreasing reception in the areas I needed it to work.

Picked up T-Mobile and have been VERY impressed. There have been a few times when the towers were sluggish, but normally it’s faster than my cable internet. Reception’s acceptable, has worked everywhere I’ve wanted it to. By the time I’ve run out of signal with T-Mobile, my company-issued Verizon phone also is showing no signal.

Every carrier has dead zones, no way around that. The trick is finding a carrier whose dead zones work with your lifestyle. Verizon’s dead zones happened to be both of my homes AND both of my offices and reception was getting worse.

T-Mobile abroad has been fantastic. Domestically, it’s been no worse than Verizon. Couple that with unlimited video streaming and it’s a whole new experience. Netflix/YouTube while stuck in a dead standstill in traffic? Yes please!

T-Mobile is totally killing it. Unfortunately, thats just on paper. Real world examples are less than stellar, but still solid for the price and stats.
