Our Verdict

We posted this before and it didn’t last long, I’m posting a new post so everybody sees it again. I just added it to a friends account and it worked fine. Some Discover cardholders also have 30% off and American Express are offering two airport rides up to $65 each.

Reader Justin says that this promo didn’t stack with the Capital One Quicksilver Uber promotion last time it was offered.

Do you have to do the rides by December 31st or just sign up for it by then?

android pay is not very user friendly imo, took so long for them to accept and verify the credit cards I was (penfed, dividend etc;) trying to use, I eventually just used lyft…Dowload and set-up andriod pay way in advance of your requested ride to avoid a headache.

Great, thanks DoC! Missed the deal last week but was able to get this one. Working as of 11:52pm PT.

Has anyone tried loading a VGC to use with Android Pay?

Possibly helpful DP: I used my Capital One Quicksilver in Android Pay last time I had this promotion and those rides weren’t credited to my “buy 9 get one free bonus” when using that card.

Anyone know if we can switch off between Android Pay and other ccs, and still get 5 rides out of the Android Pay rides?
