Walgreens Class Settlement
Settlement Website | File A Claim | FAQ pdf
A proposed Settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit on behalf of individuals, health insurers, and other entities who paid for prescription drugs from Walgreens. The class action lawsuit, Russo, et al. v. Walgreen Co., No. 1:17-cv02246, relates to how Walgreens determined its usual and customary prices in submitting claims for prescription reimbursement, specifically whether it should have considered its Prescription Savings Club prices in determining its usual and customary prices. To resolve the claims, the proposed Settlement will provide for $100,000,000 ($100M) to be paid by Walgreens.

Our Verdict
Not clear how much this will pay out. Always worth tossing in a claim if eligible since every once in a while there’s a class settlement payment that ends up being substantial.
Looking forward to getting a $5 payout in 5 years. In the meantime, I will continue getting Walgreens to print me free low-quality photos of my dog every month.

If you do not plan to send in support receipts and docs for the claim, best to select a claim for < $10,000. Good luck!!!
If you received notice and a Notice Identification Number from the Settlement Administrator, you do not need to provide any documentation at this time if the estimated total amount of your unreimbursed out-of-pocket expenditures for one or more prescription drugs purchased from Walgreens from January 1, 2007 through November 18, 2024, where prescription benefits were used in filling the prescription(s), is less than $10,000. However, the Settlement Administrator may ask for additional proof supporting your claim.

Hey Appna Desi, you need to take classes in good online conduct!!! Go back to school !!! We do not need negative comments here !!!
So, umm, yeah…..Your comment seems pretty negative…
Got an email for this with a notice ID and unique ID despite never filling any prescriptions at Walgreens. Never had any family members fill there either, nor used any pharmacies that they would have acquired. Kinda concerned.
You must be new to this. Neither your name nor email address are private information.
No doubt, but I don’t think I’ve ever been sent one with a notice ID for a settlement that I wasn’t a part of…
They might have given you prescriptions from Walgreens if you had a hospital stay.
Did you get a vaccine there?

Can you use prescription records for payment receipts? I tried calling them option 2 nobody is every there. Can we fax the records if they allow them. The last settlement allowed me to fax them from my HP printer. A lot cheaper then mailing them.
Get someone younger to help you this time.

He’s asking a question that you could choose to answer or not but instead you chose to shame him. Do you act this way in person or is this your outlet to bully people?
How do you explain to a boomer that it’s 2025 and no one uses fax machines anymore?
The claims process is entirely online for a reason, and this is guy is still trying to physically mail his receipts in an envelope lol
Maybe, just maybe, they don’t want to transmit their confidential information over the internet?
If someone doesn’t know how to explain it, don’t answer. Pretty simple.
Uploading them may not be the problem but getting the physical copies into digital form is more likely an issue.
Got it on all my accounts and filed my claims last year when the settlement page went live.
To file online you’ll need a notice ID and unique ID. Both are in the email I received.
You can file without them
Check your Walgreens account rx order history to find out how much you’ve spent
I received an email for this so does that mean I’ll get a big cut 🙃
