Air Canada Launches ‘Infinite Canada Flight Pass’ $2,260 – $5,650 Per Month For Unlimited Flights

Air Canada has launched the Infinite Canada Flight Pass, a monthly pass that gives you unlimited travel for flights within Canada. There are three different tiers available and passes must be bought before September 23, 2020 (prices are monthly but you can buy up to three months). Tiers are as follows (all prices in CAD):

  • Standard: $2,260 per month
  • Flex: $2,825 per month
  • Latitude: $5,650 per month

Flex and Latitude passes give you access to more availability than the cheaper standard pass. Latitude also gives you a complimentary business class upgrade. Probably not that interesting to most readers as you need to be a Canadian resident and the passes themselves are expensive.

“Latitude also gives you a complimentary business class upgrade.” For $5k a month business class should be a guarantee.

Given on how “well” they have handled my AC refunds due to COVID19, I wouldn’t fly them even if they were free.

Given the terms, I would assume that is Canadian dollars. That may be important to specify.

Who among us hasnt always dreamed of the ability to take as many domestic Canadian flights as possible in the winter during a pandemic for several thousand dollars?

It is not a deal, considering limitations and the pricing.

Terms says you earn altitude qualifying miles, no mention of redeemable miles. I suppose if you have a month to kill, you could buy a membership, fly all over Canada, and earn status.

looks like it is only a one time program? You can buy one, two, or three months, but the program won’t continue beyond that. It may be good to spend a month traveling in Canada, but considering it is already cold there and Covid-19, not sure whether it is good for casual travelers. BTW, the numbers are in CAD, so the actual price is around $1700 USD

William Charles might be a good idea to point out in the post that prices are in CAD so lesser in USD

Seems pretty niche, even for business people or frequent travelers. I am only available with US fares, but that’s quite a lot of flying you’d need to do to make that price worth it at domestic rates. Just my thoughts.
