Update 9/17/25: Another email went out today stating that after 11/1/25 the rate will go down from 2.5% to 1.5% on all amounts. It seems the 2.5% nerf never ended up going into effect, and they are now pushing off the implementation until November. And they’re also lowering the rate from 1.6% to 1.5%.
Original Post 7/10/25:
The Alliant Visa card now earns 2.5% on up to $10,000 in purchases each month, then 1.5%. Effective September 1, 2025, the card will earn a flat 1.6% cashback on all purchases.
