Our Verdict
I assume this is part of Prime Day deals. Remember that this enrolls you in auto billing, so remember to cancel before the two month period is up or you’ll be charged full price.
thank you so much for the reminder
Thank you! Enjoyed my PBS but will cancel now. Thanks for the reminder.
Wow. You should charge for this service. Better yet put names of three charities and your readers if they have any shame will donate to those charities as payment for your services.
Little follow-up, PSA: Re. DoC’s good advice:
“Remember that this enrolls you in auto billing, so remember to cancel”…..
Alas, Amazon makes it exceptionally difficult to figure out how to do this on your own.
If you log on to your amazon.com account, you’re already in trouble. (After clicking on “account,” you won’t find it under “orders” or “video purchases and rentals.” Nor will you find it under “amazon prime.” No, too logical those choices. Nope, I lamely had to call in to an Amazon CSR (who after about ten minutes) figures out what I wanted… and le voila, it’s under
“memberships & subscriptions.”
How would this uninitiated know that? (ah, but there it is)
So then I asked the CSR how much various other Amazon channels would cost…. that I was also quite annoyed that the amazon.com web site didn’t have pricing for the various channels…. Ah, then she tells me that if I click on various shows, I’ll get the pricing for that show. (wrong answer — I didn’t want to know the show’s price, but the channel — e.g. BRITBOX (etc., etc)
Ah, after checking her guide, csr then tells me I’m at the wrong web site….. that all such pricing is (hidden) over at primevideo.com…. Now she tells me. *tilt
Highly recommend Grand Tour, but push signup out to Oct. 12-14 in hopes of a 40th episode by Dec. 11. https://youtu.be/fWrUl3uemb4
Today I was able to cancel one of these channels that had just renewed 2 days ago for a full refund. Hope to sign-up with .99 closer to the 14th to max this out.
Nice enough, probably will get me Sundance and maybe EPIX. Just make sure you do not delete the payment method or they will promptly cancel the 2nd month at the billing time.
i actually need redzone. give me redzone
you can use certain streaming sites for that 😉
do tell more

not bad at all…though we’ll welcome more variety
welcome news in my realm too, thanx DoC.
For “Heartland” fans, UP Faith & Fam now has the Canadian series (Heartland) through end of season 13 included. (last fall )
