- *During the “April Bonus” bonus offer which runs from 4/20/17 through 4/30/17 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will earn a one-time bonus of 500 AAdvantage® miles on qualifying purchases, in addition to the standard AAdvantage® miles earned from shopping online through the AAdvantage eShoppingSM mall.
- This one-time bonus award will be determined based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period: 500 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $200 or more.
- “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.

- Please allow 8-10 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus miles to post to your AAdvantage eShoppingSM account.

Our Verdict
Works out to be an extra 2.5x miles per $1 spent if you spend exactly $200. As always, make sure you compare what rates other shopping portals are offering before going for this deal. Portal bonuses seem to be getting worse and worse recently. My general rule of thumb is to not participate unless I’d be willing to track the miles down if something goes wrong and 500 miles probably isn’t enough of an incentive for me.
