Our Verdict

Previous best offer was 125k points + $200 restaurant credit. This is a better deal as long as you use the free night certificate on a stay you’d be happy to spend $200+ on normally as this is an extra 25k points. Personally I’d make sure you have a plan for three things before signing up:

  • What you’ll use the Marriott points on
  • What you’ll use the resort credit on
  • What you’ll use the free night certificate on

There is also an increased offer on the Marriott boundless & Marriott business card. We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

Can we combine the $300 credit with the free night reward? Say I want to book a 3 night stay worth $500, and pay with my credit card. Will I get the $300 credit and also be able to use the free night reward at the same time?

My dad signed up through this page in October but AMEX is now saying there was no welcome offer attached to the card. Is there any recourse? Of course we wouldn’t sign up without any kind of offer.

Just got this card. Do I need to use the $300 credit by end of the year to double dip for next year?

i signed up for the card last month and met the spend requirement. the free night cert up to 85k showed up in marriot a few days after meeting spend and before statement date, the statement just closed and the 150k points just posted along with a 2nd free night certificate, this one for up to 25k. I dont see this listed anywhere that a 2nd cert (for smaller amount) is sent. A nice surprise but would like to know what the requirements are, in case there is more opportunities for additional certificates, this is what shows on description it posted the same day as my 150k points. Premier Free Night Award – 25K

I just met my min spend and got the 150k in my account at statement close but I did not get the 85k cert yet. Also nothing about the 25k free night cert. Maybe you got lucky? Anyone know when the 85k cert should post to my account?

How long did it take for the elite night credits to show up in your account?

Shoot, didn’t realize the offer was going to end 3 November. It’s only 75k points now

Not sure why this card isn’t more popular, especially now that can top off 50k certa with up to 15k points.

I jumped on this last week since I have a family trip coming up and we are staying at a Marriott on points + $300 cash. Perfect for the credit. It was easy to get the bonus offer to show up on my phone, I just applied from there and took screenshots.

There are DPs on other sites that say the credit is triggered by purchase of e-gift cards on Marriott’s website.

Card arrived next day via FedEx overnight in an attempt to look fancy thin cardboard box. The card is metal, just like the CSP and the old Chase Marriott cards.

What can you use the $300 hotel credit for? Is it good for hotel booking at the front desk?

Anything. Room rate, parking, room service, anything that is charged “to your room” and then charged to a credit card upon checkout. Not sure about say a restaurant inside the hotel, if you used your card for the bill separately from the room.

I’ve googled this question but wanted a second confirmation here.

If I currently have the Amex Marriott Business card (opened 6 months ago), I am eligible for this sign up bonus right?
