Our Verdict
Most people will prefer the 75,000 miles offer. Will add this to our best credit card bonus page. Read these things everybody should know about Bank of America cards before applying.
For those who travel internationally, especially to SA, Alaska miles have a very significant value. You can get international J fares for 40k – 50k. Asia trips are 50k round trip Y fare.
As someone who flies on Alaska a lot (I’m on the west-coast) I would not consider this.
Will never see a world where anyone takes this over the 75k but it’s good to share anyway.
Alaska miles are worth ~1.3 cpp so you’d be better off getting the 75k miles.
