Corporations think opposite. They’d rather spend more to bring new customers since the customers who are spending are already spending. Loyalty has no value. It’s easily seen in phone market where they’ll spend hundreds to get new customer, nothing to keep them (well maybe a little). Same with cable companies where competition is allowed. It’s beneficial to consumers to jump ship every year than stay loyal to one.
