Our Verdict

This is the highest bonus we’ve seen on this card, but I’d recommend waiting a few days as normally you can get an additional $50 statement credit by doing a dummy booking. That doesn’t currently work, but it usually takes 2-3 days before that offer starts appearing. Because of that I won’t be adding this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

    • Doubtful $50 credit via dummy booking will happen with this offer. The fine print states current IHG Rewards card holders aren't eligible for bonus, but I guess that doesn't apply to $49 annual feel legacy or the no annual fee card holders from reading prior comments regarding the premiere card.

  • Still no dice on dummy bookings showing the 150k offer. Any idea how long updated offers take to percolate into the dummy bookings? Post mentions several days, but it's been a couple weeks now. Starting to wonder if the dummy booking won't be updated for this offer.

    • I would just apply. Additional $50 is nice to have, but shouldn't be a determining factor. I'd be more upset if Chase drastically increased sign up bonus as it did with Sapphire Preferred, from 80k bonus to 100k.

      • Definitely planning to apply within the next few weeks regardless, but I'm not in a huge rush either. Thus, if there's still a chance of the extra $50 credit, I don't mind waiting a bit longer.

  • Can this car be downgraded to the Traveler card and can I have 2 IHG Traveler cards?

  • chase.com now shows the 150k + no annual fee offer. So that's some progress. Previously I only saw it at ihg.com.

  • Dummy booking currently shows 125k + $50 statement credit with $3k of spend

  • better offer of $50 statement with this offer still doesn't show up with dummy booking

  • Just got this card less than a month ago for a bit less of an offer and no AF waived. Calling to see if I can get it matched.
