I did the offer through tcb (tracked) and I received the email from chase that I redeemed the offer. Do I need to cancel before January to not get billed again?

Might be late to reply. Ipsy charges at the end of the month. Cancel by 12 p.m. PT on the last day of January to avoid the February bag.

I visited the Ipsy site and an hour or so later I have a Cap1 shopping email for $54 reward as a new customer.

I went through topcashback and it didn’t track so emailed to cancel the order. I then tried via Rakuten when the cashback went up to $10 from $7 two days ago and with the offer on another one of my Chase cards, and it tracked within a few minutes

You can submit a claim to TCB this early? When I try to submit a claim, it indicates that I need to wait 7 days. Did you receive a reply for your claim?

hmm.interesting. yes, i was surprised it let me submit. It was however, put ‘on ice’ for 7 days (that is the status they list)… Response is automated, of course:

Dec 24 2024 Hi there,

Your Missing Cashback Claim has been put ‘On Ice’, as the merchant in which you are claiming against imposes a validation period of 7 days.

We will need to keep your claim on our system until this time period has elapsed from the date in which you have completed your transaction, thereafter it will be automatically released after 12/30/2024 2:06:33 PM and sent over as part of the next claim batch.

If you notice that your expected cashback tracks in the meantime, can you kindly close this claim as soon as possible using the button labelled ‘Close this claim’.

So after 3 weeks they came back saying I had to provide them with order number! There is no order number on any of the confirmations! Are you facing the same issue?

I also left order number field empty since ther isn’t one. TCB asked for email associated with order. Waiting for a reply and been 4 days. Very slow in investigating.

After I provided the email, they said all good and it set to ‘ready to submit’. That was a week ago. Today, it reverted back to ‘Requires member action’, and to provide the order number.
I am filing a BBB complaint – I am done.

My TCB finally went to pending yesterday after sending a nudge to investigate. I sent my email address in lieu of the order number and was okay for me. Did not ask for order number again. Maybe try again and indicating there is no order number asssociated and have Ipsy investigate through your address.

pending meaning – you got your $ pending? or pending merchant? after telling them i will complain, mine is now ‘pending merchant’ . it’s going to be another 3 months lol

P2 really enjoys her Ipsy box deliveries. Given how expensive makeup and personal care items cost, it can be a good value and exposure to new products. Just have to babysit the payment method to keep putting it on cards with Chase or Amex Offers.

Thanks, Doc. With tax + handling fee the total comes out to ~$17. Looks like you have to wait to cancel until the following month (January).
