Chase Sapphire Reserve ‘Pay Yourself Back’ 1.25% Redemption Is Not Changing

Chase has confirmed (via Dansdeals) that Pay Yourself Back 1.25% option on the Sapphire Reserve card is not changing at this time.

Pay Yourself Back will not be changing for Chase Sapphire Reserve at this time.

Note, while the PYB feature will remain intact for the time being, there’s no telling what the 1.25% redemption options will be. Currently we have annual fee, gas, grocery, and pet stores. These are valid through 6/30/25 and might be extended or changed to other categories. Hopefully we’ll have these or other user-friendly categories in July and beyond.

I’m not sure whether the Sapphire Reserve for Business card also has the PYB feature.

Hopefully this lasts for another 3 months so I can cash out my 1M points. I don’t have much time to travel so I will just take the cash.

Works for annual fee too. My question was about if it would continue.

CSP doesn’t have the annual fee reimbursement via PYB, only CSR and I think the United Cards as well.
