The public sign up bonus on the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer is currently down to 40,000 miles. It’s still possible to get 50,000 miles after $3,000 in spend by using a referral link, so I thought I’d let readers share their own links in the comments below (as long as you follow the rules). Keep in mind too important facts:
- This card is subject to the Chase 5/24 rule
- Standard bonus is usually 50,000 miles anyway. There is a 60,000 miles + $50 targeted offer and we have seen targeted offers for 70,000 miles + $50 very recently.
Personally I’d just wait it out and hope for the 70,000 miles + $50 offer to come back.

If you’re using somebodies referral link, try not to just use the first one you see. Instead try to find a readers name you recognize that makes useful comments and contributions to the site.
