Our Verdict

Not the best promotion, but at least the points are free I guess. Probably more useful if you already have a stash of Choice points and need a bit more for a specific redemption.

I know this is old and not that important but points should have posted now. I emailed and they responded saying a stay is required despite the official rules stating the exact opposite.

Their customer service is quite awful.

I received an email but no mention of verifying my email address. I’m just having flashbacks of previous problems with HelloWorld dealing with IHG promotions

ps, got the confirming email within a minute. Yet don’t see anything therein about providing a mailing address. (?) Wouldn’t that be already in my account?

Same for me, got the email, but mentions: To receive your 200 Choice Privileges&reg bonus points, be sure to complete your stay and your points will be awarded to your Choice Privileges account within 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the promotion.* , though I did a free play. Not sure what’s hapenning!

300 for me and 3k for the wife! I know some of you think the Choice program is crap, but I’ve gotten great use out of it for hotels near national parks.
