We know now the 5% cash back categories for the first quarter of 2017 on the Citi Dividend card:
- Home Depot®
- Home furnishing stores
Unlike other 5% cash back cards like the Discover it & Chase Freedom this card is slightly different in that you’re given an annual spending limit of $6,000 on the 5% categories – rather than a quarterly spending limit of $1,500 on the 5% categories. These categories don’t hugely excite me and there is usually at least one quarter each year where I can max out the $6,000 5% cap so I’ll just patiently wait for that instead.
Keep in mind that it’s still possible to do a product change to this card as well.
