Citi is now letting cardholders do product changes via the chat feature. Previously Citi has required calling in to process these product changes although it was possible to use chat during the pandemic. Additionally you can now product change between Citi American Airline & Citi ThankYou points cards, previously this wasn’t possible. I assume that has changed as now Citi is the sole issuer of American Airline cards.
