After the drama of freezing and then unfreezing thousands of Strata Elite cards, Citi has now completely shut out numerous Strata Elite cards by closing down their cards.
Most Strata Elite cardholders are still live and well, yet dozens are seeing their cards closed out by Citi without warning a couple of days ago. All points earned were zeroed out as well. See multiple Reddit reports here and here.
It’s not clear why these cards have been closed out, and affected cardholders are waiting a week to find out more from the letter expected from Citi.
