- Instant Win Game: This is the first part of the promotion. This is valid until March 21st, 2018 You earn game pieces (teams that make the sweet sixteen stage) for completing actions such as:
- Scan/Enter code. Enter or scan a code on the packaging of any participating Coca‑Cola®-branded products or POWERADE®-branded products
- Sip & Scan Wendy’s: Basically same as above, but you enter/scan the code here. Code is found on Wendy’s cups
- Sip & Scan 7-Eleven: Again same as above but enter codes here. Code is found on Big Gulp cups.
- Mail in: You can also mail in to request codes, more details here.
- Online: You get a free instant win game when logging in (pretty sure this can only be done once)
- Bracket Instant Win Game: Whenever a team wins and you have their game piece, you’ll receive a prize. Prizes are:

Our Verdict
I’ve never done this promotion before, but reader Andrew D has. In past years he has been able to get about $40 free coke products and $300 in gift cards for around 150 caps. That sort of thing won’t be achievable anymore as the prizes aren’t nearly as good (e.g $100 gift card replaced with $10 gift card). It also looks like you’re limited to winning each prize once. It should be even easy to get caps this year though as it looks like you scan just scan bottles? Feel free to share your experiences in the comments. I wonder if you can also double dip with other promotions like this.There is also a $25,000 sweepstakes bonus, everybody who had the seed that wins the tournament will be entered into this sweepstakes (25,000 total for each team).
