Crypto.com: Set Up A Direct Deposit Of $400+ & Get $25 Of CRO

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Crypto.com is offering $25 of CRO when you set up direct deposit for the first time and complete one or more direct deposits totaling at least USD 400

Our Verdict

I guess this might be worth doing if you already have a crypto.com account and can easily change your direct deposit. There are of course much better bank account bonuses out there that require direct deposit.

There’s a new signup deal with Swagbucks: Make a purchase of $15 crypto and get $30 SB. I received this promo in my swagbucks inbox, but I don’t know if it’s targeted. Usually, you can get $25 CRO through referral bonus, while the swagbucks deal is $5 more.

The cheapest way I found is to deposit $20 through instant deposit from your bank (linked via Plaid) and use the $20 deposit to buy $20 USDC. (Minimum deposit through instant deposit is $20.) I received $30 swagbucks in a few minutes after the purchase. There is no fee to convert USDC back to USD, and it’s also free to withdraw USD back to your bank account.

Wise did NOT count as a qualifying direct deposit, even with the reference field trick

Treasury Direct push did not count as DD but as “USD Deposit (via ACH)”. Sent in a request to see if they will consider it as a DD. Also, this offer ends on 3/16

Hmmm on 4/11 got 61.37 CRO as a competition reward. I guess that’s this bonus?

FYI even though you can deposit to the crypto.com account via another bank, you can’t withdraw from the crypto.com account via another bank. Reading the terms, you can only initiate withdrawals from crypto.com

For those who are considering signing up, please be aware that this platform was hacked very recently, especially if you plan to put a decent amount of funds on here. User beware.

JapanVacay None of the major platforms are unhackable and no users actually lost funds. They also offer 250k of reimbursement for individual hacks as long as you have all the available security features enabled. Considering they bought Staples Center they’re actually probably one of the better bets to be able to cover and reimburse both indvidual and large scale hacks.

I guess it depends on if it’s a direct deposit or a “direct deposit” that’s required here whether it’s worth it or not.

Been waiting for a crypto.com deal that didn’t require staking a bunch of money in a volatile coin. Looks like there is a 1000 SB offer on Swagbucks for something (via the Swagbutton) but I can’t find it anywhere on the website. Hope it stacks

Bigger deal in my opinion is the 10% APY on stablecoins.
