The Offer
- Delta has an unadvertised flash sale with round trip flights to Europe from 34,000 miles
Our Verdict
We recently saw another unadvertised sale with one flights to North/Central/South America from 5,000 miles. Main problem with these unadvertised sales is we don’t get the full details (for example city pairings and dates). From what I can see though:
- Dates from now into March 2022
- Most domestic airports to AMS/ATH/BCN/DUB/DBV/FRA/LIS/LHR/MAD/MXP/NCE/CDG/KEF/FCO/VCE/ZRH
I’d recommend using the monthly calendar to quickly view pricing and then go from there. As always share the routes and anything else interesting you find in the comments below.

I just used 55k milea one way to london in economy so dont know what you guys are talking about….
Taking covid test back to US is a hassle. And some counties charge outrageous price like 100 euros even for a quick rapid test.
Switzerland will charge you around $165 for a test. Why not cash in when the cashing is good? Complete scam. If this isn’t price gouging I don’t know what is.
Thank god this doesn’t happen back home where Hawaii, requires the test from a select number of providers, which tag it as travel related, thus not covered by insurance.
Cost from one of these providers being 170$.
U.S. accepts self-administered rapid antigen tests (as long as you get the ones done under video supervision) for citizen and PR re-entry, e.g. Abbot BinaxNOW with eMed. These cost 25$ a piece, and you can take them with you on your travels and get tested before you’re ready to return to the U.S.
It was super easy to find a place in Prague, test took 3 minutes and cost $9, results by email in 15 minutes.
34k from NYC to their 3 Europe hubs (AMS, CDG, FRA)
The Delta Sky Club at JFK is awesome. I like it more than any Centurion Lounge I’ve visited.
Cash rates are super low right now as well, so probably just dynamic pricing for miles
free delta variant with purchase of flight
No one cares trumper
Trumpers don’t believe in covid
Perfect user name…
lmao
I can’t go to Taco Bell. I’m on an all-carb diet. God, Karen you’re so stupid!
Not sure what qualifies as an unadvertised flash sale and what’s just a decent redemption, but there also seems to be some good to great domestic Skymiles fares for the fall as well. I booked a bunch of flights last night.
Examples:
SEA-PHX 3000 Basic Economy, 4500 Main Cabin
SEA-SAN 2500 BE, 3500 Main
SEA-ORD 4000 BE, 5500 Main
Cash fares were cheap on all of these, but I still got around 2 cents/mile (or more).
Can’t get “flexible dates” to check and as usual Atlanta is SOL. Delta blows, moved outside ATL 3 years ago and have flown Delta once, out of a couple dozen trips.
Cheapest from around DC is 44K and it’s only Delta metal.
44k RT to a lot of western Europe from Anchorage in Sept and October.
Where can you find the monthly calendar?
Put in city’s and dates. Check the flexible dates box then search. Above the prices matrix theres a place you can hit price calendar and then you can see by month.
