Central NJ 3 DG’s only accept cash. Makes it useless for me.
No problem here using credit cards for gift cards at dollar general-north central Kentucky.
Southwest Virginia no issues using credit card with two local stores.
Folks saying you can’t use credit cards to buy the gift cards, but paying cash would still save 15%, so I’m not seeing the big problem here.
Many of us have DG offers on different credit like Chase to save an extra 10%, the only brand I’m interested in is Cinemark but Costco sells those at 20% discount every now and then
I wanted to do this as well. It could have been stacked w/Chase Dollar General offer (5% back up to $5) which I had on 2 of my Chase cards. But my shithole Dollar General will not allow credit cards for GC purchases. I was going to get 2 doordash cards and pay separately but got shot down.
Same, the ones where I live don’t allow credit card payment for gift cards

My local Dollar General doesn’t accept credit cards for gift card purchases. YMMV.
