Last year it was 5 lattes and I still have some to use. Even with 25% increase I’d probably buy some. Keep in mind that currently medium hot & cold lattes & cappuccinos are just $2 from 2PM to 6PM, so don’t use your cards
Also they earned Dunkins rewards points last year. Meaning buying these cards with an app earned points. When you redeem cards there is no way to earn points because they act as a 4x (6x) coupon and are not tied to your account
After each redemption receipt will show how many free drinks you still have on your card
They come activated already and unprotected
if you load up your DD card via the app.using your credit card, you get the points. This has worked for the past 2 years. I buy about 25-30 cards to give out to co workers and friends and family. (Only buy 10 per shop using app). I get enough points for 4 or 5 free large drinks. And app keeps track of them.
But these are not gift cards, are you sure you can load to the app?
Update: My DD won’t allow me to scan my app for buying these, never had a problem last year. Will try other DD but if they won’t allow to scan the app then I’ll skip on hoarding these latte cards and will start using cash app instead. Can’t believe they devalued 25% and won’t let me earn rewards on it.
Can they be used outside of the sale area?
Bought one today. Only use it outside the $2 latte window from 2pm-6pm, otherwise you’re paying more. A regular latte costs 4 bucks where I am so this comes out to a roughly 37% discount pretax. Also they told me it only works on regular lattes, not their signature lattes, but if you get the right cashier YEMV
