Our Verdict
Chevron/Texaco giftcards can be sold for 90.75% of facevalue to Giftcards.com (limited to $300 for non bulk sellers) or 90.25% to ABC gift cards. Let’s assume you purchase 3 x $100 gift cards for $90 each, here is your profit breakdown:
- 4% cash back by shopping through eBates (+$10.8)
- 2-10% back from eBay bucks (+$5.4-$27)
- 5% cash back from using a card that earns at a high rate on eBay purchases (+$13.5)
- 0.25%-0.75% profit for selling cards for higher than facevalue ($0.75-$2.25)
You would profit $30.45-$53.55, obviously more if you already have eBay gift cards you purchased at a bigger discount. Some people are able to earn 5x eBay bucks on purchases over $150 at the moment, so check if you have that offer or not.
