Our Verdict
Some things to know:
- BeFrugal are offering 1% cash back on eGifter
They have their own rewards program, earn 1 per $1 spent (2 points if you use Bitcoin) and 100 points $1 in savings(won’t be earned on this deal)
I have no idea how eGifter codes (not 5x with Chase Ink, but should work for American Express Small Business 2x). This is a profitable deal before you even take into account either of the above or credit card rewards. Because there is no hard limit, I don’t expect this to last too long. I purchased 10 with amex, the codes came, ABC Giftcards sent me email payment being processes. Seems to have worked fine.
Frankly, I’d be more worried about the only method of liquidation being ABC Gift Cards than the supplier being eGifter – what happens when they stop accepting these cards or change the payout %?
I used Amex to pay but got declined. Amex representative told me there is no issue with my account. Anyone got any luck to pay with Amex?
eGifter is the largest supplier of online gift cards on the web. Their business has exploded and were written up positively in Dec Consuner Reports. People who get mad write reviews. How many people have they pleased? Not too many people go to a “passed consumer site” to write the good stuff, no?
Do you have an affiliation with them?
Some pretty bad reviews for eGifter of non-delivery and cancelled order. Anyone have good luck with them?
I have had horrible luck with eGifter. They asked for a ton of personal information to confirm an order and then NEVER got back to me. But billed me anyway. Avoid.
Was that recently? I did another deal with them this month and except for the glitches mentioned above it was fine. I had quite a few orders, too.
Gift cards have high levels of fraud. They must be super careful. you either get a refund or your gift card.
I saw reviews that egifter is not a trustable website. I bought one and got the code and sold it on abcgiftcard. Still afraid that the code may be avoid and it will waste money and time to chase less than $1 profit per order. Also, when I used my chase credit card for check out, I received fraud alert email from chase. Probably this deal is not worth it.
I used them not long ago. It’s all brand new gift cards AFAIK. I have no reason not to trust them, though there was a bit of glitchiness I bumped into, as Audrey mentioned above.
States no reward points will be earned with the promotion – standard for eGifter.
Their website can be glitchy, sometimes delivering no bonus cards and once in a while delivering extra. The one time I contacted them about a problem they did respond and correct it.
How does it code?
I think work related or something like that but not 5x with ink.
Did code as a small business with the recent Amex deal though.
Thanks, updated post.
