[Expired] eGifter: $50 For $40 Hotels.com

Reposting because Hotels.com is back in stock

The Fine Print

  • No limit on the amount of GC you can purchase

Our Verdict

Can’t resell Hotels.com (and 20% off on giftcard seems to be the standard with them). Lord & Taylor best resale rate is 76% & Chef’d can’t be resold either so really only useful if you need these gift cards for your own use.

So, I tried to get 5 of them on Wednesday. Got the email saying my order was processing, nothing since then :/. They only took an authorization for $1 on my card, so am I safe to assume the order will never get through?

Hotels.com still working for anybody? All I see is $50 no coupon or anything. Their description on Google states this offer but once you get to the page its gone.

I am trying to understand why you cannot resell hotels.com. Can someone help me out? Why couldn’t you try to resell them on Raise?

If you try to list on Raise you get the below error.

” We are not accepting Hotels.com gift card listings at this time. If you would like to sell a gift card from a different retailer on our marketplace, visit our Sell Gift Cards page.”

Looks like Lord & Taylor is dead – now showing $50 price.

20% off on Hotels.com GC’s are really a jackpot. Combine that with Hotels.com’s own offers and it’s seriously substantial savings!

Of course eGifter card they can be resold. They are all brand new cards. Just like they can be gifted. But security is tight. It’s all got to be on the up and up or they will decline. They keep the bad guys out tho occasionally it keeps the good guys out too. Work with [email protected] – She’ll help if you have a problem.

There is also a promotion direct through hotels.com right now that if you buy gift a $50 hotels.com gift card you get a $10 bonus GC. Seems like a good deal for people that know they are going to use the cards directly at hotels.com.
Codes as travel with Chase Sapphire Reserve which is 3X if bought via hotels.com

Outside of holiday season, 10% is the stanard for Hotels.com so it’s a good time to stock up.
