The Offer
- Now through September 9, 2021, the first 10,000 MileagePlus members who sign up for CLEAR will earn $100 in United TravelBank cash, in addition to two free months of CLEAR. You’ll also unlock your special membership rate after the trial.
The membership on this deal will “renew” after your 2 month trial at $119 (or $109 with credit card).
The Fine Print
- Offer valid for the first 10,000 MileagePlus members to purchase a subscription for CLEAR. Offer ends on 11:59 CST September 9, 2021, or once all 10,000 offers have been claimed, whichever happens earlier.
- Members must enroll in CLEAR through offer landing page in order to qualify.
- TravelBank recipients will receive a confirmation email within 72 hours of enrolling in CLEAR.
- TravelBank credits will be valid for 9 months after the credit is deposited into member’s accounts. TravelBank credits will be deposited on or before September 15, 2021.
Our Verdict
You can get the CLEAR fee reimbursed if you have an American Express Platinum or Business Platinum card, and then pocket the $100 United credit for free. There’s also an AmEx Offer which can reimburse you the CLEAR cost as well.
Difficult to know if you are within the first 10,000 people to signup; worth doing this sooner rather than later. You’ll know within 72 hours whether you got in on the $100 promo, and you have 2 months to cancel the trial before being charged. A lot of people signed up for the $15 Amazon gift card CLEAR deal and won’t be able to do this one.
