Hawaiian Airlines has announced that they will be increasing the fees checked for baggage effective November 13th, 2018. Fee increases are as follows:
- First checked bag will cost $30 (previously $25)
- Second checked bag will cost $40 (previously $35)
This is a flat increase of $5 per bag. Checked baggage for interisland Hawaiian flights will remain the same. In late August JetBlue announced they would be raising the fees for checked baggage, since then United, Air Canada, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines & Delta have all increased their fees as well. Southwest is still fighting the good fight and offering two bags for free.
